Private review is a handling habit.

A radio log can contain more than public callsigns: station locations, operator notes, names and custom logger fields can be sensitive. This bench performs its file processing in your browser without uploading the selected files.

Before selecting files

Use a device and browser profile you trust. Keep original exports in a private folder. If you are only testing the interface, select Try sample logs instead of choosing real files. The samples are synthetic and include an exact pair, a near pair with conflicts and separate contacts.

During review

The app creates a Web Worker for parsing and matching. Cancel processing terminates that worker, clearing the active comparison. Reset terminates the worker and clears the file selections. No review choices are saved to browser storage, so a refresh also loses the session. Do not rely on this page as your only record of decisions.

After downloading

Save the new ADI and manifest somewhere appropriate for your log. The manifest contains filenames, headers and original fields for merged records, including values you decided against. Keep it private when asking for help. A screenshot of a comparison can expose the same information.

Limits of the local model

Static page and font requests still reach the hosting provider. Browser extensions, shared accounts, download folders, device backups and operating-system sync are outside this tool's control. There are no third-party ads or analytics scripts in the processor. Read the specific privacy statement for the implemented behavior.

For the actual merge workflow, start with the review guide. For what survives into a new copy, read field preservation and conservation.
